Nomad India Network has entered into a technology and marketing  collaboration with internationally renowned Aareff Transmission Systems, formally known as Veronica.

The collaboration is aimed at making a widest range of transmission equipment available in India and Bangladesh where communities are waking up to having their own radio stations. Aareff, a  Spain based company is known for its world class, rugged and affordable equipment for low powered radio transmission. Aareff, originally branded as Veronica, is known to be a  benchmark of global standard in low powered transmission systems.

 

Nomad, which is a group of communication enthusiasts, has emerged as the first non-governmental and independent agency integrating community radio stations at the most optimal price while meeting the international telecommunication standards.

With this agreement, Nomad will be authorised distributor and integrator of Aareff Transmission Systems ranging from 1 Watt to 3 Kilo Watts. Nomad will also undertake repair and maintainance of Aareff equipment, if at all needed.

Nomad believes that this collaboration will go a long way in making transmission technology affordable for rural communities and will contribute towards the rapid spread of the community radio movement in India.
